Now it's just the Phuket group. We left one of our own -- Jihad -- in Vietnam. (Patrick made an apt analogy to the war over 30 years ago). Dani and Dan had to get some familiar flavor after weeks of Thai seafood. Note the book.
Our first dinner in Phuket. Dani's pineapple Mai-Tai is proof that we're starting to unwind and go native. Left to right: Dani, Me, Patrick, Dan.
Ahhh the local wildlife. Patrick is demonstrating the common bar game: take turns with hookers to pound a nail into a tree stump with the sharp edge of a hammer. Quite challenging.

Uhh ... another shot of the Phuket night life. It's nothing but old European men roaming around with young, bubbly Thai women. These women are as aggressive as construction workers.
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip ... that started on this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship ...
... the mate was a mighty sailing man ... We head towards the famous Phi Phi islands where Leo DiCaprio filmed his movie, "The Beach".

I'd love to come back and go hiking through the islands.
The features are so beautiful.
... the skipper brave and sure ... Patrick catching a cat-nap on Dani's shoulder.

The semblance between the natives and me is remarkable. The monkeys were amazing. They don't eat out of your hands. Rather, they use their own (quite human-like) hands to pick fruit out of your hands.
My friends left me before the shot. I am definitely relaxed and feeling the island vibe at this point.

This guy is living the perfect life. I am so jealous.
